Dear friends of Mae Tao Clinic,

We would like to share the impact Mae Tao Clinic's activities have made in 2018. Essential services have helped the vulnerable and displaced people along the Thai-Burma border. The infographic below presents the number of people who benefited from our health, training, education and protection programmes in 2018.
Highlights of 2019's First Quarter

On March 5th, Dr Cynthia Maung received UNDP's N-Peace Award for Untold Stories. Watch the accompanying video.

Education

We cannot be more proud of our 68 students who have worked hard and graduated from our Children's Development Centre in March. 46 students finished grade 12 and 22 students have successfully finished their pre-GED (general educational development) programme.

From March to December 2019, 12 health workers from MTC and 28 from partner organisations participate in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) training. After 3 months classroom-based training, trainees attend 7 months of practical internships at MTC's Reproductive Health Department (both in-patient and out-patient).
